All new students are on probation for the first 4 weeks. Those showing behavioral problems will not be able to continue at the school. Children entering grades other than kindergarten, must have successfully completed the previous grade for entry into Ummati School.
In addition to these admission requirements, you must complete the application and registration process as outlined below:

In some cases the student’s acceptance will be conditional based upon specific behaviour and /or academic outcomes for a specific period of time. If these outcomes are not met, the school reserves the right to remove the student from the school.
Please be advised that the registration form must be completed for the academic year in which your child is seeking administration. The registration fee for EACH YEAR is $150.00. This amount will be used to purchase the basic supplies needed by your child throughout the school year. Completion of the registration form guarantees only that your child will be placed on our waiting list. You will be notified as soon as space becomes available. Registration is not transferable to any other academic year.

1. Application for Admission
Applications must be filled out completely and mailed or returned to the school office along with copies of any previous school records
Applications will be screened on the basis of the filing date as well as previous school performance to determine eligibility for admission to Ummati School. We also require a personal interview with the students and parents prior to admission.
2. Registration - Registration for new students requires:
A. Proof of Birthday
In order to enter junior kindergarten your child must be 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the enrollment year. Ummati School does not accept early entry into junior kindergarten.
School Fees are set at $150.00 per each student.
Monthly School are to be paid in 1 VOID CHEQUE UPON REGISTRATION:
Fees are collected for all 12 months of the year even though there are two months of summer holidays.
Fees will also continue to be withdrawn from your account if a child is away on an extended absence.
FEE AMOUNT IS NOT NEGOTIABLE, however if you require financial assistance in paying the full amount then there is a SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM available.
Please let the main office know at the time of registration.
If your cheque bounces because of Non Sufficient Funds, you are expected to contact the school office and make alternative arrangements.

Any student wishing to be placed in a grade not corresponding to this chart must complete at least one semester at our school and prove that they should be placed otherwise.
Students entering in Grade 9 and above will be placed based on a Valid Report Card from an equivalent educational institute based on Ontario Ministry of Education Policies and Requirements
